RAJAR

RAJAR get their data from doing things such as measuring weekly reach which is the number of individuals that listen to a station for at least 5 consecutive minutes. they also look at the weekly hours spent listening to a station. RAJAR would measure radio stations such as the BBC and radio 5 live. each station would get reported on a 3,6, 12 month sample depending on the size. This is denoted by the letters Q, H or Y on the press release. Each station is reported on its TSA, which size can range between 50,000 for the smallest station currently on the survey, to 51m adults for a National service.

BBFC

The U age rating is given to films, DVDs and video on demand (VoD) content that is likely to be suitable for anyone over the age of four.
The Uc category was a special age rating for DVD, and signalled that content was especially suitable for pre-school children in terms of story, content and presentation. But this rating is no longer in use.
Older DVDs may still carry a Uc symbol and there should be nothing in a Uc video or DVD to upset the youngest children. You can find more details of what might be featured in content with a U rating.

BARB

BARB recruits 12,000 people across 5,100 households across the uk. The panel gets selected based on what platform is being used at the time so it could be tv, computer or tablet. The devices collect data for who is in the household and what that person is watching. The figures get pushed out to everyone within hours of them being collected.
